YESCO Electrical Supply, Youngstown, OH, announced that it has supplied all lighting and switchgear used on six of the Dakota Access Pipeline Project (DAPL) terminals, marking another major milestone for the company in regards to working on large-scale national and industrial accounts.

The 1,172-mile DAPL underground pipeline extends from the Bakken/Three Forks production area in North Dakota to Patoka, IL. The pipeline will transport domestically-produced, light, sweet crude oil from North Dakota to major refining markets in a more direct, cost-effective, safer and more environmentally responsible manner than other modes of transportation, including rail or truck, YESCO said.

YESCO provided comprehensive project management solutions including photometric reviews, submittals and advanced logistics planning as well as lighting solutions and switchgear from manufacturers including RAB Lighting and Eaton Corp. for the Stanley, Ramberg, Epping, Trenton, Watford, Johnson terminals at the DAPL project.

The project was stopped last year after protests by the Standing Rock Sioux and supporters. The Trump Administration has given the go-ahead since taking power in January.
